It was the London Ephemera fair yesterday and despite everything being against me (Jubilee Line not running, terrible weather and the cashpoint outside the fair having been taken away meaning I had to wander around in the wind and rain looking for a moolah dispenser) I persevered and picked up a nice po pourri of vintage papers:

I must admit that before yesterday i'd never heard of the Monster Comic let alone seen a copy.
News update: I recently rented a 2 bed flat nearby (the landlord is a childhood friend who I hadn't seen since about 1968, he used to live in that flat) Anyway with the help of some mates I have removed everything from storage and placed it in one bedroom (completely covering the floor for three feet all over). Will now have to go through it all chucking out any junk. (there are hundreds of vhs videos, books and bric a brac from when i was married) also all my mod clothes from 1980ish (mod revival era). Not to mention a few thousand singles mainly 60s/70s and punk era and several hundred albums. Too many to sell on ebay so wil get in touch with record store. Rat records bought quite a few albums from me last year for a very nice price.
Just look at this free gift I've just got, OK it hasn't got all 15 Peelers only 7 
, But I've never seen them for sale before since the day I bought Thunder No.3 as a little kid when I stuck them all over the place and threw the bag away, and now I have nearly half of them again along with the bag. 
As with the previous three volumes this is highly recommended to everybody (apart from those people like Lew who already own the originals - the lucky devils! )
