Millwall are top of the Championship. Champions League for us in a couple of years.

6-0. On that form, West Brom will be going back down. I hope they play their new signing Boaz Myhill next match. Carson let in 6 goals, even the worst teams shouldn't be conceding more than three. Even against the Champions.steelclaw wrote:Yeah good old Blackpool top for a few hoursDigifiend wrote:Don't dismiss Blackpool's hopes of survival lightly - they just won 4-0!

I disagree with that, they should keep Carson in the team until Liverpool play them in two weeks. After that, they're fine to drop him.
Despite losing two points late in the game today, I was very pleased with Liverpool's performance today. I thought we'd lost the game once Joe Cole was sent off - I personally thought he was unlucky, the challenge was misjudged rather than malicious and he was aiming for the ball rather than the man - but in the second half we put up an excellent fight. David N'Gog scored again too. His game could still improve, he got caught offside a few times but this year he does seem more effective.
I think if we sign a new left back (I think the main problem there at the moment is that both Agger and Aurelio are very injury prone and we can't rely on them staying fit for a season), and possibly a back up striker then we can have a strong season.

Those young boys, eh? I bet they didn't blame the pitch when you scored twice in the second half and cut the deficit down a bit! I reckon they should bring a few tempting girls over with them when they travel for the second leg, to wear your strikers out before the match starts. At least that way they'll score somewhere during the evening.steelclaw wrote:As for playing 'Young boys' where their teams average age is 14 Spurs should hammer them.

A message for Young Boys; you'll never win anything with kids!
I wasn't expecting them to beat Spurs, but it was only 3-2 and I think Spurs should win the return leg. Don't forget that they got two away goals either.

I didn't think anyone had noticed the score.
It was that stupid Astro turf who plays on that these days, wait until they play on a proper pitch the young boys will be hammered.

I think I have Arsenal's 6-0 win to thank for that, Walcott scored 3 goals and got me 21 pts!
Re: FOOTBALL SEASON 2010/11
All the usual suspects at the top of the Premier again 4th place could be anyones,& Celtic & Rangers only being kept off by goal difference another predictable season.
I hope not.

Re: FOOTBALL SEASON 2010/11
All crazy in the SPL however with Aberdeen doing surprisingly well and the mighty Inverness hammering 3rd place Dundee United four to zero. I'd be surprised if there's a bigger shock this entire season.
Re: FOOTBALL SEASON 2010/11
Sadly my prediction that Accies would struggle is coming true - 2 awful results and even worse performances - not like last season when the mighty Barcelona and Real Madrid were in fear of of our silky play !
Great result of Inverness I really though Dundee Utd were onto something special but that's them outta Europe and even at this stage will struggle to get a top 4 spot. Motherwell (my dark horses) are doing well though (darn and their our local rivals as well!!!!)
