I think the Shop at Crooked Corner might be Jose Ariza, but I am checking it with Trini Tinturé. I have 2 Ariza's originals and I seem to find a similitud in the drawing but I am not sure

Ok, so here is a complete list of Maria Barrera's stories in Misty. I need to check now extras and Specials, but so far this is what I found:

and then from number 93 to 101 that story of the Body Snatcher continues and shi did the cover of number 97 as well.

I had great fun looking at these mistys becase I haven't have the time to read them so far. I am writing my second book at the moment and only read in the night in bed, Kate Morton absorbing my time at the moment and I have a race with myself to read more books than last year. I have read less comics this year, though, and i'm not happy with that, but I have been quite busy... ─new race for next year!

What's the mining of [a.] or [c.] in the place of some artists?

Thanks Ruth - that's a really brilliant addition to the credits on the Misty website! I think the person who compiled it used letters like a, b and c to provisionally indicate stories that seemed to be drawn in the same style by an as-yet unidentified artist (presumably we can now substitute Maria's name for 'c').

If Mari is still intending to carry on with her Tammy Project it might, in time, be a nice idea to construct something similar for that comic as well. I'm sure there are a number of collectors out there who'd be only too happy to pool their knowledge.

I have printed those charts with names and artists because it is going to be usefull for my next book too. You see, some of them (I found maaaany sotires) were reprinted in Spain, specially in Lily that run from 1970 til 1983, such as Wolfgirl and some of Maria's stories. So it will be handy when I talk about those stories in the Lily's, I will be able to refer to them with original name, dates of publication and name of comic. And some of them have the name of the artist so I don't even have to squint my eyes and try to be sure if it is such and such.

I have seen maaany stories by Jose Ariza, I don;t think he published so many in Spain, it is amazing!

There were no Barrera reprints in the 2009 Misty Special, and no Barrera artwork appeared in the holiday specials. I do not have the 1985 annual, but I can tell you that Barrera artwork did not appear in the other annuals, except for "Ghost Hunters" (1984) where they reprinted the girl with the candle from the cover of Misty #1.
