I went to a boot sale this morning and saw somebody coming out with a bag full of British comics as I was going in. I hate it when that happens! :(

I did pick up some nice annuals though. :)

Well, I didn't buy this today, but it was the last thing I bought (last week): The Sweeney Annual 1978, another addition to my collection of Brown Watson annuals. Some lovely strip art with some very nice likenesses of John Thaw in particular. I may post scans later.

I may have finally completed my collecting of Cheeky Weekly, with the purchase of the two issues which have the mini comic from 1978, and I am waiting for an invoice so that I can get the missing 1979 issues.

I will keep everyone informed of the results of the recent wins on my blog.

Not a comic but I bought the Doctor Who magazine Dalek Special £9.99. It reprints a few pages of the TV21 strip and has a nice chapter on Dalek merchandise from the 60s. Loads of full colour photos.

Went to Bolton Car Boot and got 9 good Princess Picture Libraries, all Sue Day stories. All for £3, and saw these in 30th Century a while back each going for considerably more. Car boots can produce a few surpires sometimes.

The stallholder gave me a funny look upon buying these - not easy being an aplha male heroine addict!

On E.Bay just now is a rather rough copy of Sparky No1. Starting price only £1.00 It is a bit `tatty` but for collectors it would do till a better one comes along. There's about 3 days 8 hours left to bid-one person (Not me!!) has a bid on!
A Face unclouded by thought.
