Some people are never satisfied. They've announced they're doing one a month and now you want two. Would you actually buy two a month? Will you be buying everything they put out? They'll only release what they think will sell.

Well I am happy with "just" one a month with the idea of collecting them all.

Just can't wait for the first one. :D

The old "Hookjaw" complete story will be released in June by Titan though, not Rebellion...

August 16th I think, but I stand to be corrected if you have a different source?

That also lists Ken Armstrong as the artist when he was the writer so not very reliable. :)

I'd like to help, Bri, but I only have the pre-ban run, from the first issue to the one for 16th October 1976. Somewhere I also have Martin Barker's book Action - The Story Of A Violent Comic. I'm not sure exactly where it is as things seem to move around of their own accord in this house! I might well have been able to answer your question otherwise. :(

Hookjaw was in the last issue of Action, and I'm pretty sure he was in the whole run.

Judging by the collection being 136 pages long, I'm guessing that it will contain the first run of stories, from before the ban. If this does well, there seems to be enough material for two more collections.

That may be so, David, but it's reasonable to ask whether enough people would want to buy the toned-down issues to make publishing them a viable proposition.

how many issues of action was published ? around 79 ( i may be wrong) surely they can do the whole run if its a hardback graphic novel.

Have you read the listing? The book is going to have 136 pages, so, no, not the entire run.
It's hard enough getting British comics fans to pay for these books anyway without pricing them way out of their affordability or willingness to buy them on publication.

Having seen a PDF of the One-Eyed Jack book I think readers will be very pleased with it. Reproduction looks very good. I can't reveal any more or preview it on my blog yet but I just wanted to reassure members here that it looks like the material is in good hands with Rebellion. I'll post images on my blog in a few weeks.
