Odd 'Send For Kelly' page
This is a page from an issue of The Best of Topper. The rows of panels are in the wrong order (apart from the first and last). How did that happen?

Re: Odd 'Send For Kelly' page
Perhaps it was shot from the original artwork and maybe George Martin drew his pages as separate rows (and the office mixed them up) ? I think that's the way Leo Baxendale and some others drew their work, hence why they called them "sets" instead of pages (ie: a set of drawings).

Re: Odd 'Send For Kelly' page
I wonder whether this same mistake appeared in the original Topper as well, or just the reprint. The text in the header bar is typed like the 70s, 80s and 90s speech bubbles were (i.e. pre-computer, but not handwritten) which makes me think it was copied from the comic and not the original artwork.

It's not that odd really.
