Re: ? Free Gift Wild West Weekly

You are correct, it was from WWW. It was one of 2 booklets given away as free gifts. I have a bound set of the first 40 or so issues and I have 3 of the 4 booklets given away with the first two issues.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?

Amongst other things, I received the Miller Western Comic Books by John Fairclough which is a great guide to the Len Miller reprints of the 1940s, 50s and 60s. I have many if them but now I have a definitive list of the ones I still need.

Re: What Christmas Comics Have You Bought Recently?

Brilliant, gentlemen. I bought a complete year of Battle Picture Weekly s (1976), a complete year of Hotspur s (1978) and a complete year of Valiant s. What year of Valiant? I have the set and last year I read 1974 and 1975 as I read them as a kid when they came out. I loved them and even remembere...

Re: What comics do you read on a regular basis?

Currently it’s the Red Dagger series which will be followed by the Dan Dare Hawk books but that could be interrupted depending on what Santa brings!

Re: Your Favourite Time for Having Comics

For me it has to be 1975/6 and the explosion of UK Marvel titles which meant that every penny I could earn still wasn’t enough to buy all the titles I wanted. Walking home from the newsagents, reading the latest Captain Britain or MWoM was always such a joy........even when I once walked straight in...

Is it usual for two parcels for the same address to be delivered on separate days? I'm starting to panic.
I wouldn't worry Steve, I've had that happen a couple of times before and both I believe were with MyHermes.

Micron Combat Library

Just going through the comics I picked up from the Swapmeet and I find that I have doubled my colection of Micron Combat Library by picking up Issue 70. Looking around the interweb thingy and I find that these text libraries lasted to at least issue 76. The one other fact I can add from the indicia...
