Re: Complete Collections
I thought I had a complete set of TV Tornado, but when reading through them, I found the illusive #49 missing! I’ve just bought a massive stack the series that holds the missing issue. I’ll have the set…..definitely, in a few days.

But it reminds me of my politics A Level when the lecturer drew a big circle on the board and illustrated how very right wing meets very left wing when extremism becomes a factor.
I'm not a fan of extremist views on either side of the political spectrum.

Wow! You continued to watch it after the first 3 episodes!? 4 Dr Who fans I know, including me, gave up early. It was rubbish! We’re all so different too. Aged in our 20s, 30s, 60s and 70s. One non white, one Muslim and all with completely different social backgrounds but all Whovians who had ...

Re: Your Top Ten Comics Today/LifeTime/All Time
I can’t put them in order as it depends a lot on what mood I’m in as to what are my favourites. There’s also 4 or 5 more series I could have easily put in this list that I’ve really enjoyed reading as well as most of the Marvel UK 1970s series.
Valiant
Starlord
Warrior
Commando
Superheroes

Re: FAVOURITE FOOTBALL COMIC/MAGAZINE?
I’ve read them all, but Shoot was my football mag of choice as a nipper. I read RotR for a while but I found it became more like a soap opera after a while.

Re: The Last Great British Comic
The last surviving….yes to 2000AD by some way.
The last launched, my vote would go to Warrior and again, by some way. I never saw it when it came out but was introduced to it a decade or so ago by Colin Noble and boy I think he was right when he said it was by far the best comic of the 80s.

A lovely delivery this morning. 2 comics to put me one away from complete sets and Adventures onto the Unknown #6 to give me the full set of this series of 20 from Arnold Publications in the early 1950s.
All from the same seller who only had half a dozen comics to sell but I needed 3 of them ...

I had 18 gaps filled in my Alan Class collection. Leaving my ‘wants’ list lying around with the contact details for 30th Century worked!
